- I am writing down everything I eat. I may not be doing it at the time I do it but I'm writing it down. For me, that is progress right now.
- I've been wearing my new tennis shoes and workout clothes and that is giving me some inspiration. I haven't gotten to working out yet but the extra walking and just wearing this is helping me frame my thoughts.
- Work has been very busy so having well-balanced, thoughtful meals has been a challenge.
- Tonight I picked up fried chicken because I didn't have time to make dinner. I really didn't want it but it was the easiest and cheapest thing to buy without having to think too much.
- Drinking all my water on days when I am in back to back meetings is a challenge.
Today I realize that I have to probably cook a couple of meals on the weekend to get me through the week and freeze more leftovers.
I read a blog today that reminded me that it is a slow process and eating better, exercising, and being true with yourself are the key to success.

I never write down what I'm eating when I'm eating it. It's just not a realistic goal for me.
Keeping the changes you make are easier if you ease into them. Remember the main goal is a healthier you that you can maintain!
